My whole life I have been fascinated by art and design and how the skillful designer can turn an ordinary idea into a work of art. My career as a creative leader has been crafted by the careful practice of fundamental design principals fused to a boundless imagination and a healthy disregard for the impossible. I have observed and experienced the overwhelming value of design as it breaks the boundaries of visual communication, marketing, entertainment and user experience and ventures into problem solving, strategies, and all levels of management and leadership. Creative Development Teams thrive when they are given the right direction, structure, tools, education, freedoms, and merit. Using these principals I have witnessed struggling creative teams transform in to brilliant contributors, project enthusiasts, and genius problem solvers. Top Creative leaders see the world of change as an opportunity and skillfully fashion extraordinary from the ordinary. Creative Leadership is my world and Design is my playground.

Americas Army Web/UI/UX

Americas Army Websites and forums

We assembled an amazing UI/UX team at AGS.  Together we designed and created some great apps, websites, forums, advertising, and other products.
Credits to Nevin Langdon, Brad Cockrell and the Americas Army Development Team for content and design execution.

Creating the UI for Proving grounds required a double effort. The initial UI for the beta release came in hot and a little too rushed.  For the final release we re-created everything form the ground up starting with a clean, easy to navigate system. A huge credit to David Knox who not only is a great game designer but a great UI and flash designer.

Americas Army Proving Grounds

Adding videos to the loading screens was the genius of Matt Roberts. It was a pivotal idea that created huge ROI for the Army and its public outreach products.
